A little paint cleaner and maybe some polish should remove that, no compound should be necessary but that's last resort. You made out okay, and fuck the person that did it. Does your car have a cloaking mechanism or something because it blows my mind how people can hit someone's car I mean it's obviously big enough to see!

You might be able to get some of it with some clay bar, as long as it's not a scratch. I've used it before in similar cases, and while not perfect, it's a lot better.
